    TIP FROM THE PRO

Aim your tee shot left of the 150 yard marker. Be careful using your driver as a well-hit drive may go through the fairway. The approach shot is to a large green, sloping from back to front.

    TIP FROM THE PRO

This is a straight forward par four with the only real danger being OB on the left. Driver off the tee will leave a short iron approach. This will be one of your best chances at birdie on this nine.

    TIP FROM THE PRO

The most difficult par four on the South Course. A solid tee shot avoiding the fairway bunkers will leave a mid to short iron into a narrow, well-guarded green with OB perilously close on the left.

    TIP FROM THE PRO

Welcome to the signature hole of the South Course. As beautiful as it is off the tee, it’s equally unforgiving with errant shots. Water lurks on 3 sides of the green with a bunker at the back making you think twice before bailing out long. Choose your club carefully, commit to it and hit it with confidence.

    TIP FROM THE PRO

This dogleg left plays longer than it looks as it’s uphill and normally into the prevailing wind. Take note of the pin position. It will effect your club selection for your next shot at this long green.

    TIP FROM THE PRO

A positional par 5 featuring a creek that snakes throughout the hole. Play your first shot about 190 yards off the tee, followed by your second laying up to the 100 yard marker. This leaves a wedge into this shallow green fronted by the creek where your caution will be rewarded.

The second of back to back par 5’s. Only the longest hitters can reach the stream off the tee. Laying up inside the 150 yard marker leaves an ideal approach shot to this elevated green.

    TIP FROM THE PRO

A difficult tee shot to a well guarded green with the only place to miss being left and long. Take one less club to adjust for the elevation change.

    TIP FROM THE PRO

This nine ends with a dogleg that falls down and to the left. For your tee shot, choose the club that you can hit most accurately, as the entire left side of the fairway is guarded by water. The right side is more forgiving, guarded only by rough and a sand trap.

A tee shot placed down the left centre of the fairway will leave you with the ideal angle for your approach shot. Take note of the pin position, as it will affect your club section into this long green.

    TIP FROM THE PRO

The ideal shot should be kept below the hole on this severely sloping green. Make sure you have enough club, since shots coming up short will roll down into the gully in front of the putting surface.

    TIP FROM THE PRO

If you hit a huge left to right tee shot, you might be left with a short pitch into this green. The smart play is a 200 yard lay-up, leaving an easy shot at this well-guarded, narrow green.

The second longest of our 45 holes at Deer Creek. This uphill par 5 requires three good shots to reach the putting surface. Avoid the bunker on the left off the tee. Note the dogleg left for your second shot.

A good drive should reach the down slope, giving you the extra distance needed to reach this green in two. If laying-up, beware of the bunkers that pinch into the fairway around the 100 yard marker.

The perfect tee ball is a right to left shot aimed at the fairway bunker. This should leave a mid to a short iron approach into this wide but shallow firm green.

    TIP FROM THE PRO

A tempting short par 4, but at what cost? A 200 yard tee shot will leave you with a short wedge and a great birdie opportunity. Go for it and you may have a chance at eagle. Miss, you might need a calculator to add this one up.
